The Nadi Matching Procedure

From Thumbprint Classification to Leaf matching, Translation, and Mp3 Delivery

How Nadi Leaves Are Identified and Read

Nadi Astrology is a completely unique science. Unlike conventional astrology, which uses your date, time, and place of birth to construct a horoscope, Nadi astrology uses your **thumbprint** to find a pre-written palm leaf that matches your soul's journey. Below is the exact step-by-step procedure:

1. Thumbprint Submission and Categorization

The first step is for the seeker to provide their thumbprint. Men must give their right thumbprint, and women must give their left thumbprint. The lines on the thumb are categorized into **108 primary patterns** (such as *Shanka* (conch), *Chakra* (wheel), *Dhooli*, etc.). Each pattern points to specific manuscript bundles stored in our library.

2. Bundle Selection and Leaf Matching Session

Once your thumbprint category is identified, our catalog searchers retrieve the index bundles associated with it. A bundle usually contains 30 to 50 individual palm leaves.
During your live session (either in-person or online), Guruji reads the index lines from each leaf. These index lines are read as questions. The seeker must answer only with:

  • Yes: If the statement is completely true.
  • No: If the statement is false.
  • Not sure: If you do not know the answer.

For example, Guruji might read: "Your mother's name is associated with a flower, and you have two younger brothers." If you answer "No", Guruji immediately flips to the next leaf. If you answer "Yes", he reads the next statement. Only when **every statement on a single leaf is 100% correct** (naming your parents, spouse, siblings, number of children, education, current career, and challenges) is that leaf confirmed as your personal record.

3. Translation and Transcription

The text on the leaves is written in Vatteluttu, an ancient poetic Tamil script. It requires decades of training to read and understand. Once your leaf is identified, Guruji will read the poetic verses aloud, decodes them, and translates them sentence-by-sentence into your preferred language (English, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Japanese, etc.). The reading is recorded on an audio recorder, and the translated version is transcribed in a notebooks for your safe keeping.

What If a Leaf Is Not Found?

Occasionally, despite searching through several bundles, a seeker's leaf is not found. This could mean:

  • The leaf is stored in a different library bundle that we have not yet checked out.
  • The palm leaf has deteriorated over the centuries.
  • The divine time has not yet arrived for you to learn your future. In such cases, we advise the seeker to wait for a few weeks or months and try again, as recommended in the ancient texts.
